a trip to the north 3rd part

our northern trip has become a 3 part series. I hope I could say everything on this chapter so I could move on to my next adventure. :)

ride to pagudpod is really hot and my excitement to see the windmills is getting on my nerves, until finally I saw tall white electrically powered windmills towering over the town of Bangui. one thing that Bangui people should improve on their tourism is to make a site out of their famous windmills. sayang lang kasi tourists should have their own car or ride a trycicle with special fees. pagbaba namin sa area the experience was good, ang ganda kasi ng windmills and the views is refreshing talaga.

its also a good thing na nagpahintay kami sa trycicle driver kasi theres no way a tourist can go back on foot.

after the Bangui adventure na hindi naman nagtagal because we only took pictures of me Flying high (airborne), big curling waves, the windmills and the fine sand, bumalik na kami sa main hi-way through the tricycle we rented on our bangui adventure. he also watched our belongings for us while we enjoyed the sceneries. Buti na lang mabait xa.

when we reached the hi-way we waited for a bus heading to pagudpod. 30 mins din ata yung pinaghintay namin before we reached pagudpod. bumaba kami sa parang terminal and ended up parang lost dahil we dont know where the beaches are. parang nahalata ng mga tao na lost kami sa surrounding so mega ask sila where we headed. A king tricycle driver again became our saviour. he took us to a hotel where we can stay. :) after maglapag ng gamit we checked the pristine waters of pagudpod agad. and our long travel suddenly became a worthy trip because of its serene beauty. the water is clean and even with ample light (at night) you can still see its crystal green color. wow sarap talaga maligo sa ganito ka fresh. we enjoyed the night by lying in the sand looking at the stars and feeling the splash of water and the smoothness of the fine white sand. We then realized that we are on the boundary of the Philippines anything beyond it is another country. Its really a blissful experience.

the next morning naligo kami ulit siyempre. early 7am nasa tubig na ako ulit. takot sa araw. :D after that nag check out na kami thinking that we will still tour loaog before our 5pm flight.

the least enjoyable is laoag although maganda ang paoay church and i have lots of pictures there. ok din and fort ilocandia pero ang lalayo ng tourist spots. we visited the local market at wala akong makitang makitang magandang pasalubong there. plus we have to pay 400PHp sa trycicle driver to see some places kaya by 3pm we decided na magpahatid na sa airport (since kasama na sa package ng 400PHp). and then a funny thing happened. 7pm pa pala ang flight namin hahaha. I misread our e-ticket. so no choice but to wait for our plane. anyway Ilocos is still a vacation that I would never forget bloopers aside :D

DONE with IFEX :)

Just finished the 6th International Food Exhibition Philippines held annually through the efforts of our office - CITEM Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions. It was a delectable mission though tiring and stressful. IFEX is really a delicious way to serve the Filipino food expertise to the international market.

I'm just glad its successfully over.
