sad, sadder, saddest
I'll be praying for whatever's best for you Lolo.
If a door closes another window of opportunity will open.
Never get tired of praying and thanking the Lord for all the good and bad things that Life has to offer.
Remember that there will always be sunshine even after the fiercest rains.
I must not forget to smile :)
and always bank on the love of the people surrounding me.
Veer away my mind from things that happen beyond my control.

how long is indefinite? how does forever ends?
how can we measure time and space in a non-scientific way?
How will I know if the time that I should devote to thinking is already enough?

and I hate u so
don't know how long this would last :(
can't understand a bit and I feel like I am far far away since last night, its like the cosmic balance of the universe started to fall apart.
I can't live two lives at the same time,
I can't manage two emotions simulataneously
I can't see things in two perspective
I just can't live ur life for you.
It's kinda different, and super sad but maybe just maybe things are just not meant for us. :(

superhero junkie!
my ultimate source of entertainment and inspiration, a certified solution to depression and my escape to the harsh realities of life. I dont know what I would do or where will I be without them - the superhero flicks that I so love and have guided me in my happiest and my lowest moments in life. (hehehe! mejo mababaw but this is my choiceb for a feel good movie eh *wink*)
Yah, its my saving grace, thats why I always secretly believe that I have powers myself and its evolution is just bidding its time before I transform into something beautiful and very powerful :)
well my true purpose of writing this piece is to list down the best superhero movies that won my attention others may not agree with me but these movies are really A-rated in my heart.
arranged in random order I havent really ranked them so I'm just listing it for you.
The incredibles - mainly because I'm a family person, and the idea of fighting evil villains alongside each other is very exhilarating for me:) plus the cool powers is divided so each member will play an important role in the fight. Aside from its coolness and family orientation the fusion of the normal and hero life was perfectly executed, childrens normal angst, mid-life crisis, couple problems and even normal job for a super strong person is really a charmer. :) I can watch it as many times and I wont get bored it might be my number 1 but lets see...
Sky High - high school life + family expectations and super powers were just a WOW combination for me. It aims to target young audiences so I really feel young and strong by just watching this film. the lesson it imparts is also a valuable point to ponder for even the smallest power or tiniest individual have its worth and should not be disregarded:)
X-men trilogy + X-men Origins - I dont know if I need to explain it because obviously x-men is already a legend beginning from its well-received series. the cartoon figures springing into life and seeing Storm my favorite superhero in action is really a worthy way of spending my time even if I have to watch it over and over again. :)
Fantastic Four - not really on top of my list but I still like it, its how they get their powers and the way they reacted to it is what I like best about the two movies.
Spiderman - spiders are scary for me but turning it into something good is worth the watch :)
Push - just watched it and though not many people will include it in their A-list its different approach to power and capabilities is a nice and fresh story for me. If i'm like them I think i'd like to be a mover :)
Iron man - at first I thought I wouldn't like it but it turned out that Robert Downey's portrayal was enough to convince me that its a nice decent film. although his powers was not supernatural, his brilliant scientific mind still enabled him to help others :)
more to come :)

the five people you meet in heaven
by Mitch Alboom
(author of the popular book Tuesdays with Morrie)
I am so engrossed with the book that I was able to finish it in 24 hours. Really a must read for its entertaining and inspiring story that somehow reflects what people can expect in life after death. The story depicts a more extensive analysis of how Eddie (the lead character) lived his life on earth. The reality and the lessons that he missed when he was alive was the ingredient for him to move on and discover his own heaven.
the book was also made into a movie. Hope to see it as well. :)
quotes i loved from the book:
"All the people you meet here have one thing to teach you."
"That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind."
"Fairness doesn't govern life and death. For if it did, no good man would ever die young."
"It is because the spirit knows deep down that all lives intersect. That death doesn't just take someone, it misses someone else. And in that small distance, lives are changed."
"One withers, another grows."
"Each affects the other and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one."
"Strangers are just family you have yet to come to know."
"No life is a waste, The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone."
"All parents damage their children. It cannot be helped."
"That's what heaven is. You get to make sense of your yesterdays."

Ondoy's wrath made an island out of Metro Manila
Sept. 26, 2009 - Another date added to the list of historical calamities and disasters. Metro Manila along with other areas in Central Luzon was submerged in flood after non-stop rains thats equivalent of a month-long rain. Death toll already reached 200 and is still counting.
Adding up the catastrophic rains is the rapid spread of water released from water dams. Although I think its a smart move rather than risk the dams exploding until it cannot hold the water anymore, the people still deserve to be warned that heavy flow of water not only from the rain should be expected. Again, prevention is better than cure.
This is the first time that I saw the streets where I grew up became an extension of the Pasig River. water lilies and trash swims along with my feet as I walk the path towards our home that was also submerged in knee-deep dirty water.
Ondoy really gave the Filipinos an experience thats really hard to forget. Many became homeless and some even lost their lives. a very catastrophic event that I hope left us some of the most important lessons in life. - Never to take for granted our Mother Nature. :(
